HUSUM WindEnergy 2010, September 21-25, 2010
The international wind industry trade fair was held for the second time. Exhibitors from all over the world, including all the major wind turbine manufacturers and their component suppliers, made their presentations at HUSUM WindEnergy from 21 to 25 September. This is one of the most important wind energy fairs, and a platform for a range of companies from the consulting and services sector, and for representatives of universities and engineering institutes worldwide, enabling them to gain more international profile.
More than 33,000 trade visitors from over 80 countries were able to obtain information on product developments, innovations and a wide range of services for the use of wind power on land and offshore during the five days of the event. A total of 971 exhibitors from 30 countries were housed in 6 halls on exhibition grounds of 43,000sqm.
With over 70 events and around 200 speakers daily in four congress rooms of the newly-opened North Sea Congress Centre, the congress programme of this year’s HUSUM WindEnergy reflected the most burning questions and the latest challenges facing the domestic and foreign wind energy industry. Besides the numerous enterprises introducing their “Company Innovations”, questions about onshore and offshore technology have been answered here, and new wind energy countries introduced themselves.
